Yes, I am still alive!
Wow. I just received an email asking me if I ever update this blog! And there was me thinking that no one actually read it! Well, Erin.. just for you, here’s a blog entry. Yes, I AM still alive!
To be honest, I have been questioning whether or not blogging is really worth the effort. None of my friends actually monitor blogs (with RSS readers etc.) Whilst I received some great feedback about my travel diaries, I had needed to send out links to my entries by email to find an audience. Blogging’s weakness is that it appeals to other bloggers, but to few others.
So, what have I been up to? Well, not that much to be honest. I’m back in my home town of Manchester catching up with friends and family. I’m earning my keep by contracting (nothing too exciting). It’s cold here. And wet, and grey. It better be a good Summer as I’m not sold on moving back here yet! Actually, I am supposed to be heading back to Sydney this week (via New York and Fiji), but it’s not happening. I’ve decided to stick around a while longer due to female distractions!
So. There you have it. Not much to report. Which is why I’ve not updated my weblog. I am updating my photos over at Flickr though!
